It means a great deal to us to have our hard work celebrated! The award is for firms whose initiatives support the career development and progression of women, and that’s a huge focus for us at the Verve Foundation.  

We focus on 6 key areas to make an impact in our industry, including championing diversity. Actively changing the ‘pale, male, and stale’ perception of finance is important to us, and here’s how we do it:

• Proactively attracting and retaining people who wouldn’t normally see themselves in a ‘finance’ role

• Supporting independence, growth and innovation within the industry

• Providing financial education for people who never learned about financial stability at home or at school

• Busting stereotypes around money chat by instilling confidence and openness

• Creating meaningful change in the financial advice landscape to close the advice gap
